Oww

Oww may be downloaded from Sourceforge. Each release is supplied in three forms:

• The rpm files are generated for SuSE Linux, but may work on other rpm-based systems.
• The tar.gz files are source-code releases, which should build on most Unix-type systems.
• The RO.zip files are binary releases for RISC OS.

Oww Dependencies - Unix

Oww for Unix (Linux) is built on the Gtk+ widget library, and depends on a few other software components:

For Oww before 0.80.0:

• gtk 1.2
• libglade (<1.99)
• gdk-pixbuf
• libghttp

For Oww since 0.80.0:

• gtk 2
• libghttp

The owwnogui program may be built without the Gtk+ libraries. Oww may also be built without libghttp, but will then not support Wunderground-style uploads.

Oww Dependencies - RISC OS

Oww for RISC OS depends on a few other software components:

• Toolbox modules
• TextGadget module
• Acorn URL and HTTP modules – See Oregano support (3.7 version seems Ok for 3.1 and up)

Oww Client

owwlog may be downloaded from Sourceforge. This is available only as a source tarball at present.
