Interactive Commands

Owwnogui may be executed in interactive mode by entering:
owwnogui -i
or
owwnogui --interactive

You may then entering various interactive commands to control the execution of oww. The available commands are listed by entering ?:

        assign
        cal
        daemon
        devices [devices line]
        quit
        reset
        save [setup | setupng | stats | devices]
        search
        setup [setup line]
        wipe
        ? devices
        ? setup

assign

Enter device assignment mode.

A numbered list of available devices is printed. Enter the number for the device you want to (re)assign.

A numbered list of applicable assignments is printed. Enter the number for the assignment you want to make.

cal

Enter calibration setting mode.

A numbered list of devices with cal variables is printed. Enter the number for the device for which you want to change the calibration.

A numbered list of calibration variables is printed. Enter the number for the variable to change.

Enter the new value.

daemon

Enter daemon mode.

devices [devices line]

Change a line in the devices file.

quit

Exit oww.

reset

Reset the rain gauge (and other counters).

save [setup | setupng | stats | devices]

Save one of the setup files.

search

Iniate a 1-wire bus search.

setup [setup line]

Change a line in the setup file.

wipe

Wipe the list of vane IDs (old style weather station).

? [devices | setup]

Print out the devices or setup listing.
